Aurafix Varicose Stockings are designed in accordance with the “TS ENV 12718 Varicose Stocking” standard. They are available in CCL1 (18-21 mmHg), CCL2 (23-32 mmHg), CCL3 (34-46 mmHg) pressures and open-closed toe models. The raw materials used are Öko-Tex 100 certified and minimize the allergic effects that may occur on the skin. Varicose vein socks apply a compression that decreases towards the calf and upper leg, with the external pressure being highest at the ankle. Thus, they provide a uniform pressure distribution in the leg and foot, accelerating blood flow.

INDICATIONS

  • Light Compression (18-21 mmHg) Varicose Stockings
    • In the prevention of venous diseases,
    • In mild varicose veins not accompanied by edema and in
    early pregnancy varicose veins,
    • In diseases such as diabetes and rheumatism that cause
    expansion and loss of elasticity in the vein,
    • In treatment after venous surgeries.
  • Medium Compression (23-32 mmHg) Varicose Stockings
    • In certain varicose veins prone to edema,
    • In post-traumatic swelling,
    • In the healing period of simple ulcers,
    • In superficial thrombophlebitis,
    • In significant varicose veins during pregnancy.
  • High Compression (34-46 mmHg) Varicose Stockings
    • In severe structural and post-thrombotic venous insufficiency,
    • In significant varicose veins accompanied by edema,
    • In secondary varicose veins,
    • In dermatosclerosis,
    • In the healing period of serious and recurrent ulcers (after the ulcer has healed).

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Absolute Contraindications
    • Advanced peripheral arterial occlusion disease,
    • Decompensated heart failure,
    • Septic phlebitis,
    • Phlegmasia cerula dolens
  • Partial Contraindications
    • Secretory dermatosis,
    • Incompatibility with compression stocking material,
    • Impaired sensitivity in the extremities,
    • Advanced peripheral neuropathy (Diabetus Mellitus).

Aurafix Varicose Socks, produced from high-quality doublecoated yarns, have been tested
in accordance with international standards and have been developed with antibacterial
properties during weaving. The yarn structure and knitting technique help to eliminate
moisture by providing maximum air permeability, thus minimizing sweating. Its soft knit offers
a skin-friendly, non-irritating contact. Anti-slip silicone elastic bands ensure that the sock
remains stable, providing ease of use and eliminating discomfort. It is highly resistant to
pressure applied especially to the heel area, which ensures a longer life for the product.
