Anti embolism socks accelerate blood flow and reduce clotting by applying continuous pressure to the legs. It applies a compression that is highest at the ankle and decreases towards the calf and upper leg. Thus, it increases blood fluidity in the deep vein system. Aurafix Anti Embolism Socks are designed in accordance with the “TS ENV 12719 Medical Thrombosis Prophylaxis Sock” standard. There are 2 models available as below the knee and above the knee. The antibacterial fabric in the toe area reduces the risk of fungus. There are silicone bands on the upper side of the sock that prevent slipping. Thanks to its special fabric that does not contain latex, it has a high elastic structure and is compatible with the patient.

INDICATIONS

  • Reduces the risk of deep vein thrombosis in immobilized patients before and after surgery.
  • Increases blood flow rate by providing gradual compression.
  • Increases blood flow in other venous disorders such as chronic venous stasis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

  •  Local leg conditions that can be aggravated by
    stockings:
    • Cellulitis • Dermatitis • Gangrene
  • Fasciitis, recently skin graft, • Panniculitis
  • Pulmonary edema due to severe arteriosclerosis or other ischemic vascular disease
  • Pulmonary edema due to severe leg edema or congestive heart disease
  • Extreme deformity in the leg

SOCKS CONTENT

Aurafix Anti Embolism Socks are produced with high-quality double-coated yarns, and their
antibacterial properties have been developed during weaving and tested according to
international standards. The knitting technique provides maximum air permeability, helping
to expel moisture and minimizing sweating. Non-slip drop silicone elastic bands ensure that
the sock remains fixed, eliminating difficulty in use and discomfort. The observation opening
at the bottom of the sock allows monitoring of blood circulation. In addition, the soft knit
ofthe colored heel area reduces the risk of pressure sores and ensures the longevity
of the sock.
